Mary Billak
Fatima-St. Ann’s member was customer service rep
Mary Billak, Brookfield, died at 6:35 a.m. April 9, 2012, in the hospital at
Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. She was 85. Mrs. Billak was
born Jan. 27, 1927, in Sharpsville, the daughter of Victor and Mary (Bodalai) Pomper. Mary graduated in 1944 from Sharpsville High School. She worked in customer service for Westinghouse Electric for 42 years, retiring in 1986. Mrs. Billak was a member of Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann Church, Farrell. She is survived by: her husband, Frank Billak, whom she married June 18, 1949, at home; a sister, Olga Heikkinen, Brookfield; a brother, Elmer Pomper, Sharpsville; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and
-nephews and great-great-nieces and - nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Elizabeth Lado; and one brother, Victor Pomper Jr.

JOHN FLYNN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY INC., 2630 East State Street, Hermitage.
Rosary service will be at 6:45 p.m. in the funeral home.
Service:
Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Thursday (4-12-12) in Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann’s Church, with the Rev. Donald E. Berdis as celebrant. A brief prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 a.m.
Burial:
Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
