Visitation will beheld Tuesday for Robert “Bobby” R. Sherbondy of Delaware Township. He passed away unexpectedly at 9:07 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2010, in his home. He was 49. Mr. Sherbondy was born Feb. 8, 1961, in Greenville to Harold and Caroline Stoyer Sherbondy. Bobby graduated in 1979 from Reynolds High School. He worked for T. Bruce Campbell of West Middlesex as a welder for 4 ½ years. A Navy veteran, Bobby served from 1979-83. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and was a big drag racing fan, acquiring membership in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA). He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife, the former Pamela “Pam” Servey, whom he married Dec. 29, 2006, and son, Justin. His quick wit, smile and laugh will be forever in Pam’s heart. Surviving are: his wife, at home; his stepson, Justin Wagner and his wife Amanda, Transfer; his three sisters, Debra Sherbondy, Tampa, Fla.; Kimberly Wagner and her husband Tony, Vero Beach, Fla.; and Marci Hogan and her husband Paul, Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Sarah and Keira Wagner; nieces, Haylee Hogan, Nichole Wagner and Rory Hogan; and nephews, Tyler Cusick and Michael Wagner. He was preceded in death by his father and his mother, Caroline Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Strayhaven, 94 Donation Road, Greenville, PA 16125.
